Our Vision

Loving Mothers - Responsible Parents - Strong Families

At MOMMAS House, we extend a compassionate hand to young women throughout their pregnancy, offering a safe and nurturing home where they can welcome their babies. We empower mothers to continue their education or vocational training - opportunities often disrupted by the challenges of poverty and pregnancy.

MOMMAS House exists because pregnant and parenting youth facing homelessness have few options. They deserve more than just shelter; they need a supportive environment where empathy and guidance are as vital as food and basic necessities. We provide access to academic programs, vocational training, life skills, and parenting education to help these young women grow into strong, independent mothers.

Since 1986, we have offered security and assistance to over 1000 residents, enabling them to build a foundation from which they can succeed and support their own families for a lifetime. Our mission is simple yet enduring: to kindle hope where others see none.

Every young mother who walks through our doors is given the chance to realize her fullest potential, to flourish as a loving and responsible parent, and to become a valued member of the community.

Every child deserves to feel a mother’s unconditional love, and every family should thrive in a stable, structured home.

Regardless of economic status, every family has the right to safe, decent housing, to participate fully in their community, and to embrace a future filled with promise.
